Rate and Data Manager\\nLocation: Milton Keynes or Basingstoke (Hybrid – 3 days office based)\\nSalary: £60,000 per annum\\nHours – fulltime \\n\\n A highly reputable and innovative organisation within the talent solutions space is seeking a Rate and Data Manager to join their Project Management Office (PMO) team. This company is renowned for transforming how employers, suppliers, and talent interact, managing over £1 billion in spend across their platforms annually.\\n\\n With a strong focus on data integrity, governance, and recruitment-related rate management, this is a key role offering both strategic oversight and hands-on data responsibility. The successful candidate will play a pivotal part in overseeing rate and data accuracy within a large-scale recruitment platform used by public and private sector organisations across the UK and beyond.\\n\\n The Rate and Data Manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining the integrity of rate and recruitment data across internal systems and client platforms.
This includes overseeing a team handling complex rate data, such as worker pay rates, supplier margins, vendor-neutral fees, and statutory contributions like employer’s NI and apprenticeship levy.\\n\\n This position is integral to the successful onboarding of new customers, ensuring precise data input and alignment with contractual obligations. The individual will support platform configuration, manage system updates, and coordinate with Product, Strategy, Growth, and Finance teams to ensure consistency and compliance.\\n\\n Duties \\n\\nLead governance and system configuration for rate management across all workstreams.\\nEnsure accuracy of pay rates, supplier charges, and margin data in line with commercial agreements.\\nMaintain contractual data integrity, including:\\nStatutory rates (NI, holiday pay, apprenticeship levy)\\nSupplier uplifts and negotiated margins\\nManagement fees, rebates, tenure discounts, and gainshares\\nManage global rate updates, pay awards, and statutory changes such as minimum wage updates.\\nCollaborate on new customer implementations, ensuring accurate rate configuration.\\nManage a team of Change Control Executives to deliver data tickets in line with SLAs.\\nOversee job category management and make adjustments at client request.\\nConduct regular audits to ensure rate data accuracy.\\nLead change governance processes and continuous improvement initiatives.\\nProvide insights and reports on rate data trends and performance.\\nIdentify risks and drive resolution strategies across the business. \\n\\n The Candidate\\n\\nProven experience managing complex data sets, ideally within recruitment, vendor-neutral MSP, payroll, or finance environments.\\nDemonstrated team leadership and process improvement experience.\\nStrong understanding of rate governance and compliance within large-scale recruitment operations.\\nExcellent analytical and data management capabilities.\\nProficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).\\nComfortable working with platforms such as (url removed), Volti4, HubSpot, Prism, and CR.net.\\nFamiliarity with SQL, XML, or JSON is desirable.\\nHighly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.\\nStrong stakeholder communication skills, both written and verbal.\\nA degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is advantageous.\\nCalm under pressure with a meticulous eye for detail\\nConfident, methodical, and data-driven with a passion for operational excellence\\nProactive in identifying and solving system inefficiencies\\nAble to build and maintain trusted relationships across departments and client teamsKey Benefits:\\n\\nHybrid working model (minimum 3 days in the Milton Keynes or Basingstoke office)\\n25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays\\nBirthday off\\n2 volunteering days per year\\nStandard pension scheme (3% employer / 5% employee)\\nPrivate health benefits\\nEmployee discounts platform\\nElectric vehicle salary sacrifice scheme\\nCycle to Work scheme
