Our client, a leading UK manufacturer, is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with purchasing, procurement, finance or administration experience who is looking to develop their career within a successful manufacturing business.
Working closely with the Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the purchasing function, maintaining accurate purchasing data, monitoring supplier performance and helping ensure materials are available when needed.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Raising and processing purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintaining purchasing records, supplier pricing and product information.
- Producing purchasing, stock and performance reports using Microsoft Excel.
- Analysing purchasing trends and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitoring supplier delivery performance and updating internal systems.
- Supporting inventory management and stock accuracy.
- Liaising with suppliers and internal departments including Production, Finance and Warehouse.
Ensuring all purchasing documentation is accurate and up to date.
