I am looking for an experienced production planner to join a well-established business in Aylesford.

You’ll be responsible for planning and scheduling production to meet customer deadlines, managing stock control, and coordinating with key departments to ensure efficient production flow. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills to make an impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities: What will you be doing as a production planner

Plan customer orders to maximise production efficiency and meet delivery deadlines.
Manage production planning admin tasks, including batch documents and booking.
Allocate raw materials and ensure efficient stock rotation.
Liaise with procurement, warehouse, and quality teams to maintain workflow.
Monitor production schedules and minimise plan changes.
Resolve system issues, allocation queries, and batch amendments.
Support warehouse and stock control activities, including stock takes and cycle counts.
Contribute to process improvement and cross-functional projects.

Required Skills and Experience

Experience in production planning within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
High attention to detail and a proactive, analytical mindset.
