We're recruiting for a growing Peterborough-based business looking for a Business Support Executive to join its busy and collaborative team. You don't necessarily need experience within a particular industry. We're more interested in finding someone with strong administration skills, excellent attention to detail and the confidence to communicate with customers and external business partners.
What you'll be doing:
- Reviewing applications and checking information for accuracy and completeness
- Requesting and collating supporting documentation
- Preparing files for review and progressing applications through each stage
- Liaising with customers, external partners and internal teams
- Chasing outstanding information and keeping everyone updated on progress
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation within the CRM system
- Supporting reporting and pipeline management
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the wider team
- Identifying ways to improve processes and make things run more efficiently
About you:
You'll be someone who enjoys being organised, taking ownership and making sure things get done properly.
You'll ideally have:
- Strong administration or business support experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage several tasks and priorities at once
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ideally experience using a CRM system
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn
- The confidence to chase information and communicate with a range of people
Experience within customer service, sales administration, account support, applications processing, coordination or another fast-paced office environment could all transfer particularly well.
