Our Kettering based client has an exciting opportunity for a commercially aware individual to join their hardworking and dynamic team as an Operations Assistant. The ideal candidate will have experience in an operations business environment, and will ideally have support contracting experience, although this is not essential.
You will have a professional business approach to assist with worldwide projects within large fabric maintenance contracts. This role offers a professional career path within the offshore/marine industry and will develop your skills within operational support, client liaison, managing multiple projects, negotiation skills and WIM supplies.
This is a hands-on role covering specific programmes of work such as:
- Procurement
- Logistics
- Manning
- Material monitoring
- Liaising with supervisors, 3rd parties and suppliers
- KPI monitoring and directing appropriate data feedback to clients.
This role offers development and longevity within an established company.
Key Requirements:
- Ideally you will have a background within an operational/logistical role.
- You will be willing to learn, develop and grow within a niche industry.
- You will possess excellent organisational skills, be IT literate, (intermediate to advanced levels of MS applications including Excel, Outlook and Word are essential).
