We are working with a well-established and highly regarded education provider to recruit a Transport Fleet Administrator to support the smooth running of their student and operational transport services. This is a varied and hands-on role, offering the opportunity to be part of a busy transport function where organisation, accuracy and strong communication skills are key. You will play a crucial role in ensuring fleet compliance, supporting transport operations and providing an excellent service to students and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the administration and coordination of the vehicle fleet
  • Maintain accurate fleet records across systems and manual logs
  • Ensure vehicle defects are tracked, resolved and signed off
  • Manage databases including MID and driver records
  • Raise purchase orders and manage fuel, AdBlue and parts ordering
  • Coordinate transport bookings including coaches and taxis
  • Carry out driver compliance checks including licence verifications
  • Support transport operations during peak periods and college events
  • Handle enquiries relating to student transport via phone, online and face-to-face
  • Assist with vehicle checks and daily operational processes
  • Provide early morning support and cover for transport services when required
