- Getting quotes and comparing prices
- Building strong supplier relationships
- Chasing outstanding orders and managing lead times
- Resolving delivery issues and shortages

- Keeping purchasing and supplier records accurate
- Supporting the wider procurement and operations team
What our client is looking for:
We're open to candidates from Purchasing, Procurement, Buying, Supply Chain or technical administration backgrounds. You'll ideally have:
- Some experience in purchasing/procurement or a materials-led environment
- Good commercial awareness
- Strong attention to detail
- Confidence dealing with suppliers
- The ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
- Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- A proactive "I'll sort it" attitude
- The ability to understand technical information, specifications or product requirements
Experience within engineering, manufacturing, construction or another technical environment would be a big plus.
What's on offer?
Β£27,000+ DOE. The salary will reflect your experience, with scope for more for the right candidate. You'll also get:
- Genuine career progression within procurement
- Training and development opportunities
- Support from an experienced Procurement Coordinator
