About the Role

We are recruiting for an Exams Administrator to join a well-established educational organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive team responsible for ensuring examinations are administered efficiently, accurately, and in full compliance with awarding body regulations.

This role would suit someone with strong administrative experience who enjoys working with processes, managing data accurately, and providing a high-quality service to both staff and students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process examination entries, registrations and amendments accurately within required deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate student and examination records using internal systems.
  • Ensure all examination administration complies with awarding body regulations and internal procedures.
  • Liaise with awarding bodies, internal departments, staff and students regarding examination arrangements.
  • Provide clear and timely communication to students regarding examination schedules, results and related information.
  • Support the planning and coordination of examination timetables.
  • Prepare examination documentation and maintain confidential records.
  • Assist with the administration of results, certificates and post-results services.
  • Respond professionally to enquiries while delivering a high standard of customer service.
  • Carry out general administrative duties to support the Exams team.

About You

The successful candidate will have

  • Previous administration experience within a busy office environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively to deadlines.
  • A professional, approachable and customer-focused attitude.
  • The ability to work accurately with confidential information.
  • Experience within education or examinations administration would be advantageous but is not essential.
