We are working with a well-established and highly respected footwear manufacturer in Northampton who are looking to appoint a Closing Room Supervisor to join their production team. Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the day-to-day running of the Closing Room, ensuring efficient and high-quality production.
- Monitor production output and maintain quality standards through regular checks and team engagement.
- Provide guidance, support and constructive feedback to team members to drive performance and continuous improvement.
- Allocate work effectively based on team capability and production priorities.
- Liaise closely with planning and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.
- Uphold and enforce quality control processes across the department.
- Ensure machinery and equipment are properly maintained, reporting any issues promptly.
- Support hands-on production where required.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within footwear, garment or a similar manufacturing environment.
