We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Bookkeeper to support a dynamic outsourced finance department within a fast-growing professional accountancy practice. You’ll manage the day-to-day accounting operations for a dedicated portfolio of clients, acting as their go-to contact for all bookkeeping and management accounting queries.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, values client interaction, and takes ownership of their workload.
Key Duties:
- Delivering agreed services across your client portfolio, covering bookkeeping, management accounts, and VAT returns
- Serving as the primary point of contact for your assigned clients
- Preparing management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations and posting journals
- Managing your own workflow and ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
The Ideal Candidate:
- Strong bookkeeping background with solid management accounts and VAT experience
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice
- Confident using Xero and able to interpret financial information
- Ability to work to time budgets and manage multiple client needs
- Detail-oriented, organised, and proactive
