Pay: £12.92 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Start: ASAP
Temporary to Permanent after 12 successful weeks
Shift Pattern:
Monday: 13:00-22:00
Tuesday: 13:00-22:00
Wednesday: Rest Day
Thursday: Rest Day
Friday: 05:00-14:00
Saturday: 05:00-14:00
Sunday: 05:00-14:00
Important – Flexibility Required
The above is the current shift pattern. However, working days and hours may change depending on business and operational requirements. Candidates must be flexible and willing to accommodate changes to their working days and/or hours when required.
We are looking for reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative/Administrators to join a busy logistics team in Luton.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining warehouse duties, parcel handling, administration and computer-based tasks. You'll play an important role in keeping daily operations running smoothly.
What will you be doing?
- Sorting, scanning, loading and unloading parcels
- Using computers, smartphones and internal systems to process and track deliveries
- Completing data entry, system updates and information checks
- Supporting drivers and the wider team with daily operations
- Identifying and reporting parcel, system or operational issues
- Helping to ensure the warehouse and daily operations run efficiently
What we're looking for:
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer and smartphone skills
- Able to carry parcels and work on your feet throughout the shift
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable with excellent attendance and timekeeping
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing working days and hours
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
