We have partnered with a well-established law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join their Civil Litigation department. This role offers the opportunity to handle a varied caseload, support departmental growth, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality legal services. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters (e.g. landlord and tenant issues, boundary and neighbour disputes, debt recovery and related areas).
- Provide clear strategic legal advice to clients.
- Draft pleadings, correspondence, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
- Conduct legal research and prepare court documents.
- Attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
- Accurately record all chargeable and non-chargeable time.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accurate file management.
- Contribute to business development and networking activities as required.
Requirements
- 4 years PQE.
- Ability to independently manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Strong knowledge of litigation processes and procedures.
- Excellent client care skills with an empathetic and professional approach.
- Strong commercial awareness.
