Our client is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join its growing service team. This is a handsâon, customerâfacing role focused on installing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing electroâmechanical production equipment across the UK.
What You'll Be Doing
- Installing, commissioning, servicing, and repairing customer equipment
- Responding to breakdowns and completing planned maintenance
- Diagnosing and fixing electrical and mechanical faults
- Ensuring all electrical work meets safety and compliance standards
- Testing completed work and resolving any issues found
- Producing clear service and customer visit reports
- Managing company vehicle, tools, and stock
- Delivering a professional, friendly service to customers
- Working safely and in line with company and industry H&S standards
- Staying overnight when required
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years' experience servicing electroâmechanical equipment
- Strong faultâfinding and problemâsolving skills
- HNC/HND, degree, or equivalent engineering qualification (electrical bias preferred)
- Full UK driving licence (up to 3 points accepted)
- Confident working independently in a field service environment
- Forklift licence desirable (training available)
