An established and growing construction and refurbishment contractor is seeking a highly organised Project Co-Ordinator to support the successful delivery of refurbishment, reactive maintenance, and lifecycle projects across the North West and Yorkshire regions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coordinating multiple moving parts to ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish.
Working closely with Project Managers, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting daily project operations, maintaining schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring clients receive regular project updates.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting Project Managers with the day-to-day coordination of projects
- Organising and managing weekly pre-start meetings to ensure labour and materials are in place
- Managing Project Manager diaries across multiple regions
- Creating and maintaining project programmes using systems such as Simpro, Microsoft Project, and Excel
- Updating internal systems and project databases accurately
- Liaising with clients and providing regular project updates
- Raising purchase orders and supporting procurement processes
- Providing wider administrative support including training coordination and contract renewals
- Attending site visits when required
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Previous experience using Simpro, Microsoft Project, or similar systems is advantageous
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
- Proactive and solution-focused approach
- General construction industry knowledge is desirable but not essential
- Salary of £28,000 per annum
