Field Service Technician / Engineer Maidstone 28,000 per year Monday - Friday 37.5 hours We re looking for a practical, curious and people-focused individual to join our clients growing team as a Field Engineer.
Although advantageous, you don t need previous engineering experience what matters most is having the right attitude, enjoying solving problems and being confident speaking with customers with a technical aptitude.
You will receive full on the job training, and the technical support you need to become a highly skilled Field Engineer, with a knowledgeable team behind you every step of the way.
Due to driving a company van - a full driving licence is required.
Also, occasional overnight stays may be required.
What will you be doing?
Every day will be a little different, with a mix of hands-on engineering, problem-solving and customer interaction.
Visit customers on-site and build great working relationships.
Listen carefully to customers, understand what s going wrong and work out the best solution.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with garage equipment.
Carry out routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance.
Show customers how to use their equipment safely and effectively full training will be provided.
Keep clear and accurate records of visits, repairs and maintenance.
