Salary circa £30-37k DOE
Monday – Friday 7am – 5pm ( 1x 7:30am-11:30am Saturday shift per month )

We have partnered with a long standing, reputable business in the build sector, who are looking for an experienced account manager to join their team. Based on the outskirts of Northamptonshire, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining excellent relationships with both customers and suppliers, contributing to their pipeline of prospective customers, and promoting repeat business through a servicea first approach.

Key Duties:

Building strong relationships, both internal and external to identify and develop new, lapsed, or dormant business opportunities.
Acting as a main point of contact both internally and externally for any product related queries.
Managing the supply and demand of products.
Processing orders and or returns.
Assisting on the trade counter, serving customers and providing a knowledgeable service.
Develop trusting relationships both internally and externally in order to provide exceptional customer service to maintain repeat trade.
Maximising all customer interactions by upselling and cross selling relevant products
Realising full potential of all customer interactions and build strong, effective relationships with customers and suppliers.
The Ideal Candidate:

Experience of working in an internal sales role.
Experience working within a merchant.
Ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers and suppliers.
Proactive with the motivation to secure and increase sales orders through existing and new business.
Organise and manage workload well – dealing well under pressure
Strong commercial and financial understanding
Experience in the building / construction industry is preferred.
A full driving licence is preferred
