What will you be doing?
- Coordinating care and staffing to ensure safe and effective service delivery.
- Managing staff rotas and responding to urgent staffing requests.
- Matching the right staff to the right shifts while maintaining high standards of care.
- Working closely with care teams across supported living, residential care and nursing services.
- Monitoring staffing levels and escalating any risks or concerns where appropriate.
- Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, confidentiality and person-centred care principles.
- Communicating effectively with staff, clients and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Using electronic rostering systems and Microsoft Office to manage schedules and maintain accurate records.
- Remaining calm and solution-focused when dealing with last-minute changes or emergencies.
Experience/qualifications required:
- Previous experience in a Healthcare Co-ordinator, Care Co-ordinator or similar role.
- Experience of care or shift coordination, staffing, recruitment and rostering.
- Background within supported living, residential care or nursing agency environments.
- A strong understanding of safe staffing, safeguarding, confidentiality and person-centred care.
- Excellent organisational, communication and decision-making skills.
- Confident prioritising multiple tasks and working under pressure.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic rostering or care management systems.
- Flexible to participate in an out-of-hours/on-call rota.
