We are looking to recruit a permanent, full-time, experienced and motivated Head of Private Client to lead our client’s well-established Private Client department. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior Solicitor to take over the reins of an already established department and develop their career.
The role requires a professional with strong experience in trusts and complex matters, coupled with the ability to lead a team providing clients with expert support across Wills, LPAs, Court of Protection, and estate administration.
This position will be predominantly based out of the firm’s Coventry office, with occasional travel to other offices as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct private client matters on behalf of clients.
Lead, support, and develop a team of experienced Private Client professionals.
Ensure high-quality client service and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Maintain and grow strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service.
Play a key role in the strategic development of the department.
Participate in marketing and business development activities.
Demonstrate sound financial management with particular regard to cash flow and billing procedures.The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE in Private Client law.
Ideally a full member of STEP, or working towards qualification.
Extensive experience across Wills, Trusts, LPAs, Probate, and Estate Administration.
Strong leadership skills, capable of mentoring and developing a team.
Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
Commercially aware with a proactive approach to departmental growth.
Full UK driving licence and access to own transport (due to office location and client visits).What’s on Offer:
