Forklift Driver – Packaging Company Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire Shift type: Rotating Shifts - 06.00-14.00 week 1 and 14.00-22.00 week 2 Payrate: £13.50 per hour Job Type: Temporary with potential for permanent employment The Role We are looking for a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver to join a busy packaging company based in Wellingborough. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment. You will play an important role in keeping materials and finished products moving safely and efficiently around the site. Key Responsibilities Operating a forklift truck safely around the warehouse and production areas. Loading and unloading deliveries from vehicles. Moving packaging materials, stock and finished products to the correct locations. Supplying production teams with the materials they need to keep machinery running. Preparing finished goods for dispatch and ensuring orders are ready on time. Keeping the warehouse tidy, organised and free from obstructions. Carrying out routine forklift checks and reporting any faults or damage. Following all site health and safety procedures. What We're Looking For Previous forklift driving experience. A valid forklift truck licence is preferred. Experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing or packaging environment would be an advantage. Good attention to detail and a safety-conscious approach. The ability to work well as part of a team and use your own initiative. A reliable attitude, with good timekeeping and attendance. What's on Offer?
