We are working with a well-established and growing logistics business who are looking to bring in an experienced Export / Import Dispatch Administrator to join their busy and supportive team. This is a key role within the operation, ideal for someone with hands-on experience in international freight who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You will take ownership of shipments from start to finish, ensuring everything runs smoothly, compliantly, and on time. If you have strong export experience and are looking for a role where you can really add value, this could be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating international export shipments from start to finish
- Supporting import processes where required
- Organising collections and deliveries with transport partners
- Preparing and checking export documentation (CMR, customs paperwork, etc.)
- Acting as a key point of contact for customers and handling queries
- Tracking shipments and resolving any delays or issues
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
- Supporting with invoicing and general admin tasks
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience within export freight / international logistics (essential)
- Strong understanding of export documentation and customs processes
- Experience supporting import operations (desirable)
- Background within logistics, transport or freight forwarding
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a proactive approach
- Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
- Knowledge of Incoterms and EU shipping requirements
- Experience using freight or logistics systems
- Experience working across both import and export operations
