Day Centre Manager Kettering Monday – Friday 9am – 3pm £14.31ph Temporary with the opportunity of a permanent position We are currently recruiting for a Day Manager on behalf of our client, a leading charity in the UK, this candidate will lead operations at their Kettering Day Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with a background in care, team leadership, and activity planning to play a pivotal role in delivering quality services and experiences. Responsibilities Lead, support, and develop a team of care staff and volunteers. Conduct regular staff supervisions and annual appraisals. Ensure high-quality, person-centred care. Plan engaging and meaningful daily activities and events. Oversee the wellbeing of clients, staff, and volunteers. Ensure compliance with all safeguarding and health regulations. Work alongside senior staff to explore and expand day care offerings in the area. The candidate Proven experience caring for elderly adults. Team leadership or management experience. Strong interpersonal and organisational skills. IT literacy and confident with record-keeping. Ability to work independently and within a team. Previous care-based experience and safeguarding knowledge. Skilled at handling difficult conversations and situations
