We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Administrator (official title: Delivery Station Associate) to join a busy logistics operation in Croydon. This is a predominantly office-based position, supporting the day-to-day coordination of deliveries, route planning and administrative tasks. However, you will also be expected to assist with warehouse operations during busy periods to ensure the smooth running of the station. This role is ideal for someone with experience in logistics administration, warehouse operations or transport planning who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating daily delivery operations and supporting drivers
  • Monitoring deliveries and updating internal systems
  • Assisting with route planning and resolving delivery issues
  • Maintaining accurate records, spreadsheets and operational reports
  • Handling customer and driver queries professionally
  • Liaising with the warehouse and transport teams to ensure deliveries run efficiently
  • Supporting warehouse operations when required, including parcel sorting and operational tasks during peak periods

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience in a warehouse administration, transport administration, logistics or warehouse operative role
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Previous route planning experience is highly desirable
  • Good geographical knowledge of South West England
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
  • Flexible approach to working different shifts and days as required, including rotating shift patterns
  • Willingness to support warehouse operations when needed
