Location: Watford (Hybrid)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Corporate Tax Manager to join our client’s established accountancy practice based in Watford. Reporting directly to the Tax Principal, this role offers exposure to a wide range of corporate and personal clients, providing both compliance and advisory services.

You will manage the compliance affairs of a diverse portfolio while supporting the Business Tax Team with more complex matters such as incorporations, IT/CGT planning, reconstructions and demergers, share schemes, and EIS/SEIS. Key Responsibilities:

Carry out corporate tax work in accordance with firm procedures.
Prepare and review Corporate Tax Returns for a portfolio of clients.
Assist with tax enquiries and support Principals on complex tax issues.
Advise on tax planning opportunities including incorporations, share schemes, reconstructions, and EIS/SEIS.
Maintain accurate records of Corporation Tax Returns and ensure all filings are submitted on time.
Identify opportunities for additional client support and tax efficiencies.
Supervise junior team members and contribute to team development.The Ideal Candidate:

CTA qualified (essential).
Experience gained within an accountancy practice environment.
Proven ability to manage a portfolio of owner-managed businesses (OMBs).
Strong understanding of corporate tax compliance and planning, with awareness of interactions with non-corporate taxes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
Strong IT skills and solid technical tax knowledge.
Collaborative team player with the confidence to manage and mentor junior colleagues.What’s on Offer:

Full-time role, Monday to Friday, with hybrid working arrangements.
