Our client, a specialist roofing and cladding contractor providing a full range of services for commercial, industrial, factory, and warehouse properties, is recruiting an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee and manage multiple roofing and refurbishment projects. Working closely with the Managing Director and internal teams, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, profitably, and safely, while maintaining the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple industrial roofing and refurbishment projects simultaneously.
- Oversee subcontractor recruitment, management, and performance.
- Conduct site surveys, measurements, and risk assessments.
- Prepare Risk & Method Statements, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety (CDM Regulations).
- Develop and oversee project schedules and programmes of work.
- Work closely with estimators and attend contract handover meetings.
- Ensure accurate labour, materials, and production cost estimates.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities to reduce project costs.
- Attend client and project stakeholder meetings, including those with architects, quantity surveyors, and planning supervisors.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure projects meet specifications.
