An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and energetic Inside Sales Representative to join a successful and growing dealership business within the construction equipment sector. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with customers, building relationships, generating opportunities, and developing a long-term career in sales. You’ll play a key role in supporting retail growth by converting inbound enquiries into qualified sales opportunities and proactively engaging potential customers.

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will act as a key point of contact for prospective customers and support the wider sales team through proactive lead generation and customer engagement. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Selling a range of compact equipment solutions to new customers and small fleet operators
  • Proactively cold calling prospective customers to generate new business opportunities
  • Lead generation through outbound activity, digital enquiries, and marketing campaigns
  • Building and developing a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Prospecting and creating demand within the local market
  • Responding quickly and professionally to inbound enquiries from website leads and marketing activity
  • Making outbound calls to follow up and progress opportunities
  • Identifying customer requirements and arranging demonstrations or dealership appointments
  • Booking qualified appointments for the external sales team
  • Maintaining regular customer follow-up to maximise conversion opportunities
  • Updating CRM systems accurately with customer interactions and next actions
  • Supporting digital sales activity including online listings, email campaigns, and social engagement
