Business Development Manager IT Communications Northampton 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (between the hours of 8am 30,000 - 45,000 DOE + commission An established technology and communications business is looking for a driven Business Development Manager to join its sales team.

This is a genuine new-business role, suited to a proactive sales professional who enjoys prospecting, building relationships and taking opportunities from initial contact through to close.

You will identify and develop new opportunities across communications and technology services, including connectivity, business telephony, mobile and managed solutions.

You will be supported by internal technical specialists but will need to confidently understand customer requirements and communicate the commercial value of different solutions.

Knowledge of areas such as hosted telephony, unified communications, broadband/connectivity, mobile services, AV or managed IT are required.

Key

Responsibilities: Generate new business through outbound calling, email campaigns, networking, referrals, events and targeted prospecting.

Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective customers.

Identify decision-makers and develop relationships with business owners, directors, operations teams and IT stakeholders.
