Job Title: Technical Estimator
Location: Biggleswade
Hours: 8.30am – 5pm Mon - Fri
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 depending on experience

We're looking for an organised and technically minded Estimator to produce accurate quotations, respond quickly to customer enquiries and help deliver an outstanding customer experience.
The Role
Working as part of a busy office team, you'll be responsible for converting customer enquiries into accurate technical quotations using Window Designer software. You'll manage a high volume of enquiries, ensuring quotes are produced quickly without compromising on accuracy.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience within the window, door or fenestration industry who enjoys working to deadlines and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate quotations for UPVC windows and doors using Window Designer software.
- Interpret customer drawings, specifications and measurements to create detailed quotations.
- Respond to customer enquiries promptly, ensuring quotations are issued within agreed timescales.
- Input profile options, glazing specifications, colours and hardware accurately.
- Liaise with customers to resolve technical queries and clarify specifications.
- Follow up quotations to maximise conversion opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Ensure all customer enquiries received each day are completed before close of business.
- Work closely with colleagues to maintain excellent service levels and quotation accuracy.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced using Window Designer or similar fenestration software.
- Knowledgeable in UPVC windows and doors.
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume office environment.
- Accurate with exceptional attention to detail.
- Confident communicating with customers over the phone and by email.
- Competent using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Able to prioritise workload whilst consistently meeting tight deadlines.
