Overview

We are supporting a growing and forward-thinking conveyancing firm that provides high-quality legal and customer services to clients and partner agents. Due to continued expansion across multiple offices in Northampton, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Kettering and St Neots, they are now seeking a motivated Assistant Case Handler to join their conveyancing team. This role offers structured development, ongoing on-the-job training, and clear progression opportunities for those looking to build a long-term career in conveyancing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with issuing regular updates to clients and introducers
  • Issue draft contracts on sales
  • Prepare draft financial statements for sale transactions
  • Obtain and deal with redemption statements from lenders
  • Chase and diarise sale enquiries
  • Chase and diarise purchase contracts
  • Deal with sale enquiries
  • Chase and diarise replies to purchase enquiries
  • Assist with exchanges and related administration
  • Prepare exchange letters and completion letters
  • Check secondary forms for accuracy and completeness
  • Set up financial completion packs on sales
  • Provide administrative and transactional support to Conveyancers

  • Previous experience within a conveyancing or legal support role
