Are you an experienced CNC Production Operative or Technician looking for a role where your ability, independence, and technical skill are genuinely valued? Our client is looking for a highly capable Technician to join their manufacturing team, building high-quality roof systems and components. This is a hands-on, skilled role ideal for someone confident with machinery, problem-solving, and working to precise specifications.
Duties:
- Building roof systems from technical drawings
- Solving build challenges, including bespoke and box-gutter assemblies
- Operating a range of workshop equipment, including:
- Elumatec saws
- CNC cutting machinery
- Dewalt chop saws
- Hand tools
- Programming and running CNC machines
- Carrying out troubleshooting and maintenance on tooling and machinery
- Ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistency in all work
- Completing production paperwork
- Keeping your working area safe, clean, and organised
- Supporting and guiding other team members when required
The Candidate:
- Strong experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or similar production environments
- Confident operating CNC machinery (programming experience ideal)
- Able to read and work from technical drawings
- Skilled with hand tools and mechanical processes
- Confident working independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Accurate with paperwork and quality procedures
- Forklift licence desirable (or willingness to train)
- Reliable, proactive, and a positive team player
