Our market leading client in the metals industry is looking for a MIG cell leader to join their successful team in Daventry. You will oversee a small team of around 6-8 welders and must have relevant and up to date welding experience.
Key Duties:
- Lead and supervise your team, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the cell.
- Monitor productivity and quality within the team to ensure targets are met and exceeded.
- Plan and prioritize tasks to meet production schedules and customer deadlines.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient utilization of resources.
- Evaluate and support process/fixture changes to achieve target times.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain high standards of quality and integrity.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any quality issues or non-conformities.

- Ensure all team members are proficient in their respective role, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
