Our established client is recruiting an Area Sales Manager to further enhance their position in the North of England and Scotland.

What will you do?

  • Responsible for the sales of the company's range of special transport trailers.
  • You will spend much of your time visiting existing and prospective customers.
  • Acquiring new customers with the aim of establishing long-term business relationships.
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships, achieving sales targets and developing sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • Providing qualified commercial and technical advice.
  • Administrative tasks such as analysis and data reporting.

About you

  • Residence in the sales area with home office.
  • Some years proven experience as a sales professional in the commercial vehicle, construction machinery or mobile crane sector.
  • Flexible work attitude; willingness to work flexible hours with intensive travelling.
  • Knowledge of transport / vehicle technology will be an advantage.
  • Affinity with technically advanced products.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Ability to work well with colleagues, a team player at distance.
  • Experience in achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Results driven attitude and approach.
  • Ability to negotiate and to close deals.
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office programmes and CRM systems.
