Yard Operative / General Site AssistantBrixworth, Northamptonshire£13.00 per hourMonday to Friday – 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMACS Staffing Solutions are looking for a reliable and proactive person to join our client's team as a Yard Operative / General Site Assistant in Brixworth. This is a hands-on, varied role supporting the day-to-day operations of the site, including machinery handling, site maintenance, and logistics support.Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the yard and wider site areas
• Load and unload machinery from lorries and trailers safely
• Clean and paint machinery to a high standard
• Accurately complete administration for all inbound and outbound deliveries
• Assist engineers with tasks and general support
• Carry out basic building maintenance as required
• Refuel and defuel machinery in line with safety procedures
• Deliver and collect machinery parts and items locally
• Report hazards, near misses, and incidents in accordance with company policy
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures
• Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by the manager

Requirements:

• Full clean UK driving licence (Essential)
• Forklift Truck (FLT) licence (Desirable)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to detail, particularly with documentation
• Reliable, punctual and willing to work in all weather conditions
