A well-established manufacturing business is seeking a Production / Manufacturing Quality Control Inspector to join their growing team. This is a hands-on, shop-floor based role working within a fast-paced production environment, ensuring products meet strict quality, safety, and specification standards before dispatch. You will be working closely with the Health & Safety and Quality Manager, supporting day-to-day quality assurance activity across the production lines. The Role
As a QC Inspector, you will be responsible for monitoring product quality throughout the manufacturing process, carrying out inspections, and ensuring all units meet required standards before leaving site. Key responsibilities include:
- Inspecting manufactured units on the production line for quality, accuracy, and finish
- Carrying out functional checks and basic testing of products
- Identifying defects, non-conformances, and raising issues for corrective action
- Recording inspection results and maintaining accurate quality documentation
- Working closely with production teams to resolve quality issues in real time
