We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Warehouse Shift Manager to oversee the effective daily warehouse operation of one of our market leading clients. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and accurate handling of products, manages a team of warehouse associates, and maintains compliance with company standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff.
  • Ensure accurate and timely receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch of goods.
  • Monitor and enforce health & safety, hygiene, and security standards.
  • Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise shift productivity.
  • Conduct shift handovers and maintain communication across teams and management.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through regular stock checks and reconciliations.
  • Manage shift scheduling, attendance, and performance of team.
  • Operate and oversee use of warehouse equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Resolve operational issues and escalate problems as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records of shift activities and generate reports as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, a supervisory or team management role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse systems, WMS software, and MS Office tools.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment and material handling procedures.
