Job Description

Transport AdministratorNorthampton £25,000 to £28,000 DOE Monday to FridayWe are supporting a well-established transport and logistics company based in Northampton, with their search for a highly organised and proactive TransportAdministrator to join their team. This role will require the accurate maintaining of compliance and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of fleet and driver-related administration. The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Book repairs and defect rectifications with suppliers, coordinating with the planning team
  • Manage vehicle compliance, including scheduling services and MOTs
  • Maintain driver files and perform driving licence checks regularly.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vehicle records.
  • Monitor and administer drivers’ hours, WTD compliance, and infringement records using RHA Analysis
  • Handle general office administration

Candidate Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a fleet or transport administration/coordinator role
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
