Job Description
- Weld stainless steel components to high specification (including exotic materials such as Duplex or Super Duplex)
- Perform helium leakage testing, expanding, pressure testing, and basic assembly work
- Maintain your equipment and workspace to a high standard
- Work from technical drawings and support continuous improvement efforts across production
- Assist with TPM and preventative maintenance
- Work to tight tolerances with accuracy, consistency, and attention to safety
What We’re Looking For …Essential:
- 5+ years TIG welding experience (MIG experience a bonus)
- Coded welder to EN287-1 / ASME IX / PED
- High standard of stainless steel welding
- Confident using production tools and reading technical drawings
- Good computer skills (MS Office)
- Hands-on, adaptable, and reliable team player
Desirable:
- Recognised Engineering qualification (e.g. BTEC, City & Guilds)
- Experience welding exotic materials (e.g. Duplex)
- Experience using lathes, turntables, or automated equipment
- Nuclear coding (RCCM
