Job Description
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of passive fire protection projects within budget and agreed timelines
- Manage site teams and subcontractors to ensure high-quality delivery and regulatory compliance
- Conduct regular site visits, quality audits, and health & safety inspections
- Coordinate with suppliers, internal teams, and clients to maintain project flow
- Prepare and maintain documentation including RAMS, compliance reports, and final sign-off packages
- Support commercial discussions and maintain strong client relationships
- Participate in weekly management meetings at head office (where feasible)
- Ensure all work meets third-party accreditation requirements and promotes industry best practice
Candidate ProfileEssential:
- Proven project management experience in passive fire protection (firestopping or joinery preferred)
- Background with a certified passive fire contractor
- Solid knowledge of fire safety regulations and third-party certification standards
- Strong project management and organisational skills across multiple sites
- Proficient in H&S, RAMS preparation, and quality assurance
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the region
Desirable:
- Recognised industry qualifications (e.g. SSSTS, SMSTS, NVQ in Passive Fire Protection or Joinery)
- FIRAS, BM TRADA, or equivalent third-party accreditation
- Experience using digital reporting or project management tools
