The Opportunity
A rapidly growing global business is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to take ownership of its UK warehouse operation in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on, commercially minded leader who can build and galvanise a team, drive operational performance and take full ownership of the site’s day-to-day operation and P&L.
What’s Involved?
- Full day-to-day management of the UK warehouse operation
- Leading and developing a team of 13–20 employees
- Building a strong, motivated and high-performing team
- Taking ownership of site P&L, budgets and cost control
- Managing facilities and ensuring the warehouse operates safely and efficiently
- Driving KPIs, SLAs and operational performance
- Managing goods-in, storage, picking, packing and dispatch
- Planning resources around changing volumes and business demands
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure customer and commercial requirements are met
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities
- Managing suppliers, consumables and operational costs
- Using data to drive decision making
