Job Description CNC Turner & CNC Miller – Setter/Operator Job Type: Permanent Hours: 38 hours per week + overtime when available Pay: Weekly or monthly Probation: 3 months A well-established and busy Northampton engineering business is looking to strengthen its machining team with experienced, time-served CNC Turners and CNC Millers (Setter/Operators). These are permanent opportunities for skilled machinists who know their way around a machine, take pride in producing quality work and aren't afraid of a challenge. Setting and operating CNC Turning or Milling machinery Programming using Fanuc controls Producing components to tight tolerances and high-quality standards Carrying out their own inspections and quality checks The ideal candidate will be an experienced, time-served CNC machinist with a strong background in either turning or milling. Proven CNC machining experience as a Turner or Miller Experience setting and operating CNC machinery The ability to program CNC machines A quality-focused approach and pride in their workmanship The business operates a 38-hour working week, with overtime available when required. Monday–Thursday: 6:00am–2:30pm or 7:00am–3:30pm That means early finishes on a Friday and a great work-life balance!
