We are working with a well-established education provider who are looking to appoint a Progress Coach to support apprentices within their Construction faculty. This is a rewarding, people-focused role where you’ll play a key part in keeping learners engaged, motivated, and on track to successfully complete their apprenticeship.

The Role

You’ll work closely with apprentices, tutors, and employers to monitor progress, provide coaching, and step in early where learners may be at risk of falling behind. This is a mix of mentoring, coaching, and coordination, ensuring apprentices stay engaged both in college and in the workplace.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong coaching or mentoring experience – able to support, guide, and motivate individuals
  • Confidence working 1:1 and delivering group sessions
  • Excellent communication skills – able to build trust with apprentices, employers, and colleagues
  • Ability to identify issues early (e.g. low attendance, disengagement) and take action
  • Strong organisation skills – managing multiple learners, tracking progress, and meeting deadlines
  • Confidence using systems and data to monitor performance and record interventions
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach – not afraid to step in and resolve challenges
  • A genuine passion for supporting people and helping them succeed
