- CNC Programmer - Setter / Operator
- Monday to Thursday: 07:45am – 4:30pm Friday – 3:30pm
- Our client is seeking a skilled
CNC Setter/Operator to join their Machine Shop team on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes and mills to produce components in accordance with technical drawings and production schedules.
Program, set, and operate CNC Turning Centres with live tooling, CNC Lathes (Fanuc controls), and twin-pallet CNC vertical/horizontal mills.
Operate a 5-Axis CNC Machining Centre with 8 Pallet AWC.
Select appropriate tools, cutting parameters, and machine settings.
Set and operate manual milling, turning, and grinding machinery when required.
Perform routine machine maintenance and fluid checks on a weekly/monthly basis.
Proficient in programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes and/or milling machines.
Strong ability to read and interpret technical manufacturing drawings.
Solid understanding of engineering tolerances and machining principles.
Skilled in using micrometers, verniers, and other inspection equipment.
Experience with CAD/CAM programming (Fusion 360) is desirable.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with CNC lathes and milling machines using Fanuc controls
Relevant qualification in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering.
