A leading business is looking for a Business Support Executive to join its team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced business support, executive assistant or operations professional who enjoys keeping things moving, solving problems and making sure the detail is taken care of. Working closely with the Country Manager, Business Operations Manager and wider UK team, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the business.

The role
This is a varied position with plenty of responsibility. The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative and operational support while acting as a central point of contact across the business. Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Country Manager and Business Operations Manager with day-to-day administration
- Managing calendars, meetings, travel and logistics
- Preparing presentations, reports, meeting agendas, minutes and action trackers
- Supporting leadership meetings and strategic projects
- Coordinating operational activities and business improvement initiatives
- Booking travel and accommodation for field technicians
- Monitoring KPIs and producing regular management reports
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking
- Coordinating customer visits, meetings, catering and travel arrangements
- Supporting customer and supplier administration
- Assisting with purchase orders, invoices, expenses and budget monitoring
- Maintaining compliance, governance and operational documentation
- Supporting audits and corrective action tracking
- Producing weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports
- Supporting onboarding, internal communications, meetings and company events
- Coordinating office supplies and facilities requirements
- Providing general project and administrative support wherever needed
What are they looking for?
The ideal candidate will have at least three years' experience within a business support, executive assistant, operations support or similar role, ideally with experience supporting senior managers or business leaders. They will need to be:
- Highly organised with excellent time-management skills
- Flexible for UK travel
- Confident managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- A strong communicator with a professional approach
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
- Experienced in producing reports and presentations
- Commercially aware with an eye for cost-saving opportunities
- Accurate, detail-focused and comfortable handling confidential information
- Confident working independently and taking ownership
- Comfortable communicating with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
First Aid and/or Fire Warden experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.
