Job Description Technical Manager Hours: Full-time, Permanent Are you an experienced Technical Manager, Technical Engineer or Design Engineer with a background in manufacturing or construction products? We’re recruiting for a growing manufacturer looking for a hands-on Technical Manager to take ownership of technical matters across two sites. Acting as the technical point of contact for product, design, manufacturing and installation queries. Reviewing drawings, specifications and project requirements. Investigating product quality issues and identifying practical, long-term solutions. Supporting new product development, testing and product improvements. Identifying opportunities to improve quality, performance, efficiency and cost. Experience as a Technical Manager, Technical Engineer, Design Engineer or in a similar technical position. Experience using CAD or technical design software. Knowledge of product testing, certification or regulatory compliance. A full UK driving licence and flexibility to work across Huntingdon and Biggleswade. Experience within windows, doors, glazing, aluminium, fenestration or construction products would be highly advantageous, although candidates from other relevant manufacturing environments will also be considered. Up to £40,000 salary, depending on experience. Permanent, full-time position. Direct involvement in product development and improvement projects.
