An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced education professional to join a leading further education provider as Deputy Head of Faculty for Construction Trades Heritage. Working alongside the Head of Faculty, you will help lead the faculty, drive high standards of teaching and learning, support curriculum development and inspire a team of lecturers, technicians and skills coaches. With a reduced teaching commitment, you'll combine hands-on teaching with strategic leadership to improve learner outcomes and strengthen employer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the strategic and operational leadership of the faculty.
- Lead, motivate and develop teaching and support staff.
- Deliver up to 7.5 hours of teaching per week.
- Drive improvements in teaching quality, learner achievement and curriculum delivery.
- Support quality assurance, self-assessment and inspection readiness.
- Build strong relationships with employers and industry partners.
- Assist with resource planning, budgets and curriculum development.
