We are looking for an experienced welder trainer to join a well-established growing team in Daventry. You will be responsible for providing technical guidance and expertise in the field of welding and fabrication, to meet the requirements of international standards and customer specifications. This will be a hybrid role; being able to weld is essential, as you will be responsible for welding, inspecting, and training and developing the team and new starters. The successful candidate will need to be CSWIP certified.
Key Duties:
- Designing and writing of welding procedures and maintenance of records
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to internal departments on weld procedures
- Analyse high rate of weld repairs and give guidance for improvement to reduce wastage
- Responsible for total weld quality throughout the company for manufactured products
- Identifying process changes/improvements
- Training/coaching employees in accordance with welding procedures and assessment/appraisal of welders
- Management of audit system related to weld quality internal auditing
