A well-established and busy Northampton engineering business is looking to strengthen its machining team with experienced, time-served CNC Turners and CNC Millers (Setter/Operators). These are permanent opportunities for skilled machinists who know their way around a machine, take pride in producing quality work and aren't afraid of a challenge.

The successful candidates will be working on a varied range of engineering components and materials, including 316, 304, Duplex, Titanium, Hastelloy and other specialist materials. No two days are necessarily the same!

What They’ll Be Doing:

  • Setting and operating CNC Turning or Milling machinery
  • Programming using Fanuc controls
  • Producing components to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
  • Reading and interpreting 2D engineering drawings
  • Working with a wide range of materials, including stainless steels and specialist alloys
  • Carrying out their own inspections and quality checks
