Our established client is recruiting an Area Sales Manager to further enhance their position in the North of England and Scotland.
What will you do?
- Responsible for the sales of the company's range of special transport trailers.
- You will spend much of your time visiting existing and prospective customers.
- Acquiring new customers with the aim of establishing long-term business relationships.
- Building and maintaining customer relationships, achieving sales targets and developing sales strategies to drive business growth.
- Providing qualified commercial and technical advice.
- Administrative tasks such as analysis and data reporting.
About you ...
- Residence in the sales area with home office.
- Some years proven experience as a sales professional in the commercial vehicle, construction machinery or mobile crane sector.
- Flexible work attitude; willingness to work flexible hours with intensive travelling.
- Knowledge of transport / vehicle technology will be an advantage.
- Affinity with technically advanced products.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Ability to work well with colleagues, a team player at distance.
- Experience in achieving sales targets.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Results driven attitude and approach.
- Ability to negotiate and to close deals.
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office programmes and CRM systems.
