Press / Machine Assistant
Location: Wellingborough
Shift: 0600-1400 and 1400-2200 Weekly Rotating | Monday-Friday
Duration: Temporary ongoing, with the potential to become permanent after 12 successful weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Basic machine operative skills required – full training provided.
As a Press / Machine Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing printing plates ready for the presses.
- Preparing inks using an ink mixing system.
- Assisting printers with setting up and running presses.
- Laying printing plates.
- Fitting cutters and plates.
- Ensuring daily production schedules are met.
- Maintaining daily cleaning and basic machine maintenance.
