Forklift Driver – Packaging CompanyLocation: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Shift type: Rotating Shifts - 06.00-14.00 week 1 and 14.00-22.00 week 2
Payrate: £13.50 per hour
Job Type: Temporary with potential for permanent employment
The Role We are looking for a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver to join a busy packaging company based in Wellingborough.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment. You will play an important role in keeping materials and finished products moving safely and efficiently around the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a forklift truck safely around the warehouse and production areas.
- Loading and unloading deliveries from vehicles.
- Moving packaging materials, stock and finished products to the correct locations.
- Supplying production teams with the materials they need to keep machinery running.
- Preparing finished goods for dispatch and ensuring orders are ready on time.
- Keeping the warehouse tidy, organised and free from obstructions.
- Carrying out routine forklift checks and reporting any faults or damage.
- Following all site health and safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Previous forklift driving experience.
- A valid forklift truck licence is preferred.
- Experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing or packaging environment would be an advantage.
- Good attention to detail and a safety-conscious approach.
- The ability to work well as part of a team and use your own initiative.
- A reliable attitude, with good timekeeping and attendance.
