Production Supervisor

Are you a hands-on production leader who enjoys organising people, solving problems and keeping work moving? We’re looking for a Production Supervisor to take ownership of day-to-day production, support the warehouse team and help maintain a safe, well-run site.
This is a varied role for someone who is comfortable on the production floor, confident leading a team and keen to improve how things are done.
What you’ll be doing
- Planning and scheduling weekly production activity.
- Leading production and warehouse staff, making the best use of the team’s skills.
- Keeping customer deliveries on track and working towards on-time, in-full targets.
- Monitoring productivity, product quality and working standards.
- Coordinating maintenance and calibration of production equipment.
- Leading day-to-day health and safety activity and ensuring procedures are followed.
- Helping manage site maintenance, waste reduction and recycling.
- Taking on key holder responsibilities.
About you
- You’ll have hands-on experience in a production environment and previous responsibility for supervising or managing a team.
- You’ll be organised, practical and able to balance daily priorities while keeping an eye on quality, safety and delivery deadlines
- Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems and lean manufacturing would be valuable.
- Due to location drivers licence is required
- Knowledge of the paper industry or FSC standards would be an advantage, but isn’t essential.
